Do Cameroon Citizens Need a Visa to Vietnam?

Yes. A valid visa is REQUIRED for all Cameroon citizens to Vietnam under any purpose, tourism, business or work.

To enter Vietnam, in addition to the above visa requirements, the Cameroon passport holders also need to ensure: 

• Their Cameroon passport is valid for at least 06 months following their date of entering Vietnam;
• The Cameroonian passport has at least 02 blank pages for immigration stamps.

1. Get Embassy Visa

There is no embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Cameroon up to now. In case you are required to get the visa for Vietnam in this way (you are traveling to Vietnam by cruise or land border crossing):

2. Get Visa on Arrival (Recommended)

The best way to get a visa for Cameroon passport holders who are traveling to Vietnam by air is to get Visa on Arrival (VOA).

With VOA, you will get a visa approval letter via email before departure for Vietnam, and finally, get visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport.
