How to Apply for Vietnam Visa for Croatian Citizens?
To get a visa to Vietnam, Croatian citizens may have two options:
1. Apply for an embassy visa
This way requires you to contact an embassy of Vietnam for visa application. However, there is no embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Croatia up to now.
If you are in Croatia and wish to get an embassy visa, you should contact the Vietnam embassy/consulate in the nearest country. You can find the list of Croatia’s nearby countries with the embassy/consulate of Vietnam .
If you are outside Croatia and wish to get an embassy visa, you can also contact the embassy/consulate of Vietnam in the country you are residing in.
2. Apply for a visa on arrival (Recommended)
As a holder of a Croatian passport, if you are traveling to Vietnam by air, this is the easiest way to get your visa for Vietnam as it requires you:
no contact with the embassy, therefore no travel on a long distance;
no documents required for application;
no original passport send-off required, therefore no trouble for their works requiring your original passport.
To get the Vietnam visa on arrival, Croatian citizens only need to:
Fill out the secure online application form, and make payment of service fee;
Receive the visa approval letter by email, normally in 2 working days (for tourist visa) or 7 working days (for business visa);
Pay for stamping fee at Vietnam airport to get visa stamped.
Total Vietnam visa on arrival fee for Croatia passport holders is US$25 or 50 (for a single entry visa or multiple entry visa valid for up to 3 months respectively) PLUS (+) the cost of visa letter. You can see detailed fees in the table below.
