Do Cyprus Citizens Need a Visa to Vietnam?

1. Apply at Local Vietnam Embassy

There is no embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Cyprus up to now.

If you want to get an embassy visa, please contact the local Vietnam embassy/consulate in Cyprus’s nearby countries to get the visa before departure to Vietnam.

To do so, you, at least, need to prepare the following documents:

A completed application form attached with your photo;
Your original passport (valid for at least 06 months following your arrival date);
Invitation letter and flight ticket (if you want to get a business visa).

2. Apply Vietnam Visa Online (Recommended)

This way is now the easiest option to get a visa to Vietnam for Cyprus citizens traveling to Vietnam by air. it is called Visa on Arrival – VOA. Since its introduction in 2004, it has become a preferred choice for visitors from Cyprus who need a visa for Vietnam as there is no Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in this country.

With VOA, you apply online via website Vietnamvisaservice by:

Filling out the secure online application form, and make payment of service fee;

Receiving the visa approval letter by email, normally in 2 working days (for tourist visa) or 7 working days (for business visa);

Getting visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport and pay for stamping fee there.

The Vietnam visa on arrival fees for Cyprus nationals are US $46 (consisting of US $21 as service fee for the visa approval letter and US $25 as stamping fee at Vietnam airport). This fee is for a 1-month single-entry tourist visa processed in 2 working days.
