Northern Ireland citizens are REQUIRED to get a valid visa to enter Vietnam for either tourism or business purpose.

To visit Vietnam, travelers with Northern Irish passports should meet the entry requirements:

  • Northern Ireland passport should be valid for at least 6 month following arrival date in Vietnam;
  • Northern Ireland passport has at least 2 blank pages.

Note: Visitors from Northern Ireland traveling to Vietnam by air are recommended to apply for a Vietnam visa on arrival since there is no Vietnam embassy in this country.

How to Apply for Vietnam Visa for Northern Irish Citizens?

Northern Ireland citizens and passport holders can choose one of the following two methods to apply for a Vietnam visa:

There is no embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Northern Ireland up to now.
