Do Norwegian Citizens Need a Visa to Vietnam?

Additionally, they need to ensure:

• Their Norwegian passport has at least 6 months validity beyond their date of entering Vietnam
• Their Norwegian passport has 2 blank pages.

How to Apply for Vietnam Visa for Norwegian Citizens?

The Norwegian passport holders need to obtain a visa for Vietnam if:

• They want to stay in Vietnam for more than 15 consecutive days; OR
• Their arrival date falls within 30 days from the exit date of their last staying in Vietnam with free-visa.

In this case, there are 02 ways to get a Vietnam visa for Norway passport holders. 

1. Get Embassy visa

With this option for visa application, you are required to contact the Vietnam embassy in Norway (if you are there) or a local embassy of Vietnam in the country you are residing in (if you are outside Norway) to get the visa.

This way is only convenient if your residence is close to the embassy, and you are traveling to Vietnam by cruise, train or bus.
