Do Puerto Rico Citizens Need a Visa to Vietnam?

Puerto Rico citizens are REQUIRED to get a valid visa to enter Vietnam for either tourism or business purpose.

To visit Vietnam, travelers with Puerto Rican passports should meet the entry requirements:

  • Puerto Rico passport should be valid for at least 6 month following arrival date in Vietnam;
  • Puerto Rico passport has at least 2 blank pages.

Note: Visitors from Puerto Rico traveling to Vietnam by air are recommended to apply for a Vietnam visa on arrival since there is no Vietnam embassy in this country.

How to Apply for Vietnam Visa for Puerto Rican Citizens?

Puerto Rico citizens and passport holders can choose one of the following two methods to apply for a Vietnam visa:

There is no embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Puerto Rico up to now.
