dDo Saudi Arabian Citizens Need a Visa to Vietnam?

Yes. All Saudi Arabian passport holders are REQUIRED to have a valid visa to enter Vietnam, no matter where they are at the moment of visa application, where they depart for Vietnam, which is the purpose of their Vietnam visa, tourism or business, and how long they are staying in the country.

Additionally, the Saudi Arabi citizens also need to have a passport with a minimum 6-months validity from the date of Vietnam entry and 02 blank pages. 

How to Apply for a Vietnam visa for Saudi Arabian Citizens?

Getting a visa to Vietnam for the Saudi Arabians have been becoming much easier as there are currently 02 ways available. 

1. Get Embassy Visa

This is the traditional option to get a visa for Saudi Arabian passport holders. In this way, they are required to contact the nearest Vietnam embassy/consulate for visa application. Fortunately, there is one such office in Saudi Arabia. 

In case you are not in Saudi Arabia, you can still contact any embassy/consulate of Vietnam in the country you are residing in for a Vietnamese visa application.

2. Get Visa on Arrival (Recommended)

The simplest way to get a visa for Saudi Arabia citizens/passport holders is to get a visa approval letter online and then get visa stamped at Vietnam airport (also known as visa on arrival – VOA). However, it is for those entering Vietnam by air only.
